SIGNATURE FACIALS | BIRKENHEAD, AUCKLAND
A facial built around your skin, not a fixed menu.
Not all skin is dealing with the same thing. Every facial starts with a skin assessment by a Registered Nurse, so the treatment is selected based on what your skin needs. Whether you are managing breakouts, working to repair a compromised barrier, or want to improve dull and uneven tone, there is a specific facial formulated for that concern. Three signature options. Three levels of treatment intensity. All performed by a Registered Nurse.

WHAT FACIALS MAY HELP WITH
Skin concerns these facials may help with.
Clinical facials differ from spa facials in one key way: the treatment is selected based on an assessment of your skin, not on what you’ve booked in advance. Your Registered Nurse will look at your skin at the start of every session and adjust the approach accordingly. Each of the three signature facials is built around a specific concern category.
Facials work well as standalone treatments and as maintenance between more advanced treatments like microneedling and chemical peels. Regular sessions support the skin’s natural renewal cycle and help maintain the outcomes of those treatments over time.
Acne, breakouts, and congestion
The Blemish Control facial is designed to address congestion at the pore level, calm the look of redness, and help manage the appearance of oily skin without stripping the skin.
Compromised or sensitised skin
The Barrier Repair facial focuses on rebuilding the skin’s protective barrier using calming, hydration-focused ingredients and gentle techniques.
Dull, uneven, or tired skin tone
The Illuminate and Radiate facial use brightening actives and exfoliants designed to support a more even, radiant complexion over time.
Dehydrated skin or disrupted moisture balance
All three facials include hydration support. The Barrier Repair facial addresses more acute dehydration and barrier disruption.
Maintenance between advanced treatments
Regular facials are a practical way to maintain skin clarity and support the outcomes of treatments like microneedling and peels.
Pre-event skin preparation
With no downtime, a facial is a practical option for skin preparation. Book 3 to 5 days before your event, not the day before.

RECCOMENED FREQUENCY
Every four to six weeks aligns with the skin’s natural cell renewal cycle, making this the most practical schedule for most clients. For clients managing an active skin concern or maintaining results from advanced treatments, your nurse will advise a schedule based on how your skin is responding.
POST-TREATMENT CARE
Looking after your skin after a facial
There is no downtime following a facial. These steps help protect the work done in your session and keep your skin in good condition between appointments.
Stay well hydrated
Drink plenty of water in the days following treatment to support your skin’s hydration from within.
SPF every day
Apply a broad-spectrum SPF to protect your freshly treated skin. UV protection also helps maintain any improvement in skin tone over time.
No exfoliants for 48 hours
Avoid retinol, AHAs, BHAs, and physical scrubs for 48 hours. Your skin has just been through a proper exfoliation session.
Gentle products for 24 to 48 hours
Use a mild, fragrance-free cleanser and moisturiser. Keep your routine simple while your skin settles after treatment.
Wait 24 hours before makeup
Allow your skin at least 24 hours before applying makeup, particularly heavy foundation or products with active ingredients.

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER TREATMENT
Our signature facials are designed to have little to no recovery period. Most clients leave with skin that feels cleaner and more settled than when they arrived. Some mild redness or sensitivity may occur, particularly following extractions in the Better or Best tiers, and typically settles within a few hours.
For clients with sensitive or reactive skin, let your nurse know at the start of your appointment. The signature facial option and the approach used will be adjusted accordingly.
If you are booking a facial before an event, booking 3 to 5 days before rather than the day before is recommended. This gives any mild redness time to settle so your skin is looking its best on the day.
Regular facials every 4 to 6 weeks are a practical way to maintain skin clarity and support any other treatments you may be having. Your nurse can advise what makes sense for your skin and goals at your appointment.
