About Jay Ann
Jay Ann’s career began in the Philippines, where she trained as a midwife. She moved to New Zealand, beginning here in Dunedin in 2009 before relocating to Auckland. She completed her nursing degree, worked as a mental health nurse, and now leads her own clinic as a New Zealand Registered Nurse focused on aesthetic and appearance medicine. Her experience across midwifery, care work, mental health nursing, and aesthetic practice draws on over 17 years in healthcare.
Her diverse clinical background informs a careful and considered approach to aesthetic treatments, grounded in patient safety, anatomical understanding, and long-term skin and hair health.
As Founder and Clinical Lead of Jay’s Medispa, Jay Ann oversees the clinic’s standards of care and treatment protocols. She is committed to delivering nurse led aesthetic care built on education, clinical integrity, and personalised treatment planning.
Under her leadership, Jay’s Medispa has grown into a trusted clinic supported by a team of skilled nurses who share her commitment to thoughtful, patient centred care.

Clinic Oversite and Governance
Our appearance medicine services are delivered through an ongoing partnership with Dr. Nameer Wadea and Dr. Peter Aspell from LA AIRE. They issue the standing orders our nurses work under, provide clinical oversight with quarterly treatment audits and annual clinic audits, and lead ongoing education in injection technique, complication management, and current practice in cosmetic medicine.
